Vancouver Winter Blues Fest is a brand new music festival, highlighting some great Canadian blues, funk, soul & roots talent. We're starting off with a 2 night blowout at the venerable Wise Hall, and plan to grow the festival in the coming years. We have big plans, and appreciate the support for live music in Vancouver!
Night 1: Friday Dec 4th
Doors 7, Music at 8pm. Night one of the festival features performances from:
- Secondhand Dreamcar (Edmonton, AB) – Juno nominated 9-piece soul and funk extravaganza
- Honeybear, the Band (Van BC) – Vintage inspired soul, blues & roots quartet, from down the street
- Sinéad X Sanders (Van BC) – Like a ghost from a simpler time, Sanders weaves together blues, R&B, country, jazz and punk
Night 2: Saturday Dec 5th
Doors 7, Music at 8pm. Night two of the festival features performances from:
- The Harpoonist (Van Island, BC) – A harmonica virtuoso with a couple of decades in the blues-based rock and roll trenches
- Dawn Pemberton B3 Quartet (Van BC) – multiple Juno nominee whose voice moves effortlessly from gospel & soul to jazz & funk
- Marcus Trummer (Calgary, AB) – A young blood with an old soul, Marcus deftly combines blues, soul, R&B, and rock
Please note: Event is 19+ All ticket sales are final — no refunds. If the show can't proceed due to unforeseen events, tickets will be reimbursed. Purchasing a ticket does not guarantee you a seat.
